Where Lived Experience Inspires Innovation
We turn real-world challenges into practical products designed to make everyday life easier.
OUR STORY
Make Life Easy was founded by Andy Garbarino. Born with paraplegia and a lifelong manual wheelchair user, Andy has experienced firsthand the everyday challenges that can come with navigating a world that wasn’t necessarily designed with his needs in mind. Throughout his life, he often had to approach things differently, finding new ways to complete certain tasks, accomplish goals, and overcome challenges that others may not encounter or even recognize.
After an 11-year corporate career working in Operations and Finance across several companies and industries, Andy decided to turn that idea into something more. With the support of his wife and family, he left the corporate world behind and set out to build Make Life Easy from the ground up.
In 2024, Make Life Easy was founded with a simple purpose: listen to the experiences of people with disabilities, better understand the everyday challenges they face, and create practical products that help solve them. Some of those challenges are well known. Others may rarely be discussed, heard loudly, or even recognized at all. We want to help bring those challenges forward and find solutions together.
Make Life Easy was created by and for people with disabilities, and we believe some of our best ideas can come directly from the community. Whether you shop our products, participate in our Sponsor Program, or simply share a challenge you've encountered, we want to hear from you. Together, we can keep finding new ways to make life easier.
